HISTORY

The hotel was founded around the year 1730 as the modest hotel “Grand Cerf”. In 1828 it changed its name into “Grand Saint-Hubert” and in the 18th and 19th century it became “Hotel de la Poste” due to people who stayed overnight when they travelled with the post chaise between England, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Paris.

Throughout the years, the hotel expanded several times. Today, it is fully restored and it still gives its guests that special atmosphere of the olden days with all modern conveniences.
